USCIS Resumes Premium Processing for All H-1B Petitions!

On Monday, March 11, 2019, USCIS announced that they are resuming premium processing service for all H-1B petitions starting Tuesday, March 12th.

If a case is filed through premium processing, USCIS will make a decision on a case, or issue a request for evidence (RFE) within 15 calendar days of receiving the premium processing case. The USCIS premium processing fee is $1410.

What does this mean for you?

  • If you currently have an H-1B petition pending and you would like to upgrade the petition to premium processing, please let us know (if we are handling your H-1B petition).
  • If you are about to file an H-1B petition, premium processing is available (even if the case is a transfer or amendment).
  • At this time, premium processing appears to be available for H-1B cap petitions to be filed April 1, 2019. That is of course subject to change in the future. If you would like to file your H-1B cap petition through premium processing, please let us know, and please include a check for $1410, made payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security, with your signed forms.
