This page will provide you with instructions on INITIATING A CASE with Sumner Immigration Law.

If you would like to get started right away, please complete Steps 1-3 under Initiating a Case so that we can begin our internal processing and will be ready to register your candidate(s) once the H-1B cap registration window opens. Prior to registration, we will send you an invoice based on the number of employees registered via a separate email. Payment will need to be received prior to registration.

Initiating a Case

Employer Step 1: Sign your Engagement Letter

Your engagement letter will outline the terms of your engagement with Sumner Immigration Law, including fees. Once you have made a thorough review, please electronically sign the engagement letter and it will automatically be sent to our office. We cannot begin any work on your case until we have received your signed engagement letter.

Employer Step 2: Provide the Required Employer Information

To streamline your filing process, we’ve centralized the essential tools and intake forms needed to initiate your registrations and assessments for the upcoming fiscal year. Below is the Employer Information Page, which includes direct portals for collecting the information required from employers for registration.

Employer Step 3: Send the Beneficiary Form to Your Candidate(s)

The beneficiary is the person(s) being registered in the H-1B Cap lottery. The Beneficiary Information Form allows the candidate to enter the required information for registration. Please forward this page to your candidate(s) so they may begin providing the necessary information and documents,

Once we have received the above information, we will be in touch on the next steps in the process. Candidates should follow up with their Employer for the status on their H-1B registration.
