H-1B Cap Client Initiation

Thank you for your interest in initiating an H-1B Cap case with Sumner Immigration Law.

This page will provide you with instructions on INITIATING A CASE with Sumner Immigration Law.

If you would like to get started right away, please complete Steps 1-3 under Initiating a Case so that we can begin our internal processing and will be ready to register your candidate(s) once the H-1B cap registration window opens. Prior to registration, we will send you an invoice based on the number of employees registered via a separate email. Payment will need to be received prior to registration.

Initiating a Case

Step 1: Sign your Engagement Letter

Your engagement letter will outline the terms of your engagement with Sumner Immigration Law, including fees. Once you have made a thorough review, please electronically sign the engagement letter and it will automatically be sent to our office. We cannot begin any work on your case until we have received your signed engagement letter.

Step 2: Complete Your Corporate Checklist

Your Corporate Checklists allows us to gather all of the corporate information needed for registration, including the name of your in-house H-1B contact and authorized signatory, As this information can change from year to year, all existing and new clients must complete this form.

Step 3: Input Beneficiary Information

The beneficiary is the person(s) you would like to register in the H-1B Cap lottery. The Beneficiary Information Form allows you to enter the required information about every candidate you intend to register.
