USCIS announced on May 3^rd that they have completed data entry for the H-1B petitions selected in the H-1B cap lottery.

What does this mean for you, and should you worry if you do not have a receipt yet?

1. As promised, we have sent out H-1B receipt notices to employers as soon as we have received them.
2. If you have not yet received an H-1B receipt notice, that does not necessarily mean that we will not get the notice. It is entirely possible that we will receive receipt notices well into next week, at least.
3. We have not received any “non-selected” cases back yet. We anticipate that will start receiving those in the next couple of weeks and we will notify employers immediately upon receipt for those cases as well.
