There is no immigration reform or executive action right now, and no announcements of such coming up soon. Do not sign up or give money to anyone claiming to be able to prepare you for upcoming immigration changes!

Now that the November elections are over, there is much chatter among immigration activists, political commentators, and others about the prospects of immigration reform, or executive action (action taken by President Obama) for some sort of immigration benefit for undocumented foreign nationals. Right now, this is only chatter and speculation. That is, there has been no official announcement that President Obama (or Congress) is planning any sort of positive change in terms of immigration benefits for undocumented foreign nationals.

If and when there are changes in the provisions for undocumented foreign nationals, we do not know when it will be, what it will look like, and who would qualify.

Unfortunately there are people out there who are trying to have undocumented foreign nationals pay them money now to prepare them for a program (positive immigration changes – whether through Congress or the President) that does not exist yet, and may not exist for quite some time. This is a scam. Please do not pay anyone money to help you prepare for immigration changes. You can report any scam-type offers here.
